It's been awhile.....here's a look at life around here lately.
Throwing it all the way back to Halloween.... 👆 Check out this hilarious picture of Garrett. These are the ladies he works with at Legacy High School. Obviously he was NOT feeling the tutu costume.
This Fall, Delanie directed her first short film at UNT. It's called "Singularity" and y'all.....mark my words.....one day you will see her name in lights. 💛
Then it happened......Charlene and I turned 50. Seriously, how the hell did that happen???
That's going to be my motto this year!

This guy 👇 surprised me with a long weekend away in Washington.

We flew into Portland and HOLY WOW.....what a beautiful welcome it was!
Jim found a quaint hotel in downtown Camas, WA and it was like stepping back in time. We spent the entire weekend shopping and eating and just spending time together. It was wonderful!
We spent the afternoon taking in the sights in downtown Portland. It's such a pretty city full of really funky art....
......and TONS of marijuana dispensaries. There's one one every corner.
To commemorate the occasion, I got a sample of Jim's writing at a local tattoo shop. 💗
The next day we took a drive to the coast to put our toes in the ocean.

We had a big party when we got home to celebrate all of our birthdays (Bill, Charlene & mine). I got the cutest reindeer onesies for the girls to wear.
These Suggs/Albaugh/Richardson/Gates girls were in rare form!
